For the ones you don’t have time for, it is still a good exercise to plan the essay and come up with your arguments without actually writing the essay. It can be tempting to spend a little bit of extra time writing or checking your essay during BMAT prep in order to perfect it, but this can lead to a false sense of security. You don’t want to find yourself going into the BMAT exam with unrealistic expectations.

Make sure your child practises both question formats if they are both tested by the schools you are applying to. Parents often believe that the best way to prepare for the exam is to focus only on the standard format questions with the assumption that the multiple choice is easy. However, both formats require a different set of skills and so should be practised equally. We are aware that sometimes bitsatexam.in tests fall during school half terms which vary by region each year. Tests give us an extra piece of information for every student who has applied for a given course, wherever they are from. Considered together with the other elements of the application, this helps us to identify the very best candidates. I got in the habit of using diagrams to sort the information into a manner that was easy for me to work with. When you’re doing practice questions at home, try to practise using diagrams so you become comfortable with how to use them.
